What did you want to be as a child?
When I was younger I wanted to be a forensic scientist! I loved watching Forensic Files and The New Detectives. I wanted to help solve crimes, I loved how it seemed like a puzzle where you had to put the pieces together.
What steps are you taking to accomplish your current goals?
To accomplish my goals I focus on training hard and pushing myself to the limit. I know that the harder I work, the better I will become.
What advice would you give to someone currently debating between trying and giving up on their dream?
If you are thinking of giving up on your dream, have someone tell you that it’s okay to give up on your dream. If you want to pursue your dream then you will be appalled that they would even suggest such a thing! If you don’t want to pursue that dream, then you will be glad that someone told you it was okay to stop. Everyone experiences doubt in what they do and sometimes it seems like giving up is the best option, but if it’s really your dream, you will never let go.
Who or what currently inspires and motivates you?
My biggest motivation is to just become better at climbing. I love how it feels to improve! You can have so many small successes when you send a new problem, complete a new move, etc. There is always something to be accomplished.
Tell about those who have been the most encouraging and supportive of what you DO.
My family have always been my biggest supporters, they are always encouraging me to have fun, train hard, and really just enjoy the life I am living.
